Gary M. Rautenstrauch, Chief Executive Officer

Gary M. Rautenstrauch is SirsiDynix's chief executive officer, responsible for all SirsiDynix corporate functions - finance, administration, international, product development, operations, sales, and marketing. Gary has more than 30 years of corporate experience, including 25+ years with vendors developing products and services for the worldwide library community. He has held several key management positions at Baker & Taylor, including chief information officer, vice president of operations, and chief executive officer. He also previously served as chief executive officer for Blackwell's Book Services. He holds an MBA from New York University and a bachelor's degree from the University of Miami in Florida.

Douglas R. Maughan, Chief Financial Officer

Douglas R. Maughan is SirsiDynix's chief financial officer, with oversight of all corporate finance and administration functions, including accounting, finance, legal, human resources, and IT support. Doug brings almost 30 years of financial and administrative experience to SirsiDynix, including roles as CFO and vice president of administration for a range of companies, including Scriptpro LLC, W.L. Gore and Associates, Inc., and MG Industries. He began his career as a senior audit manager and staff accountant for PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Deloitte & Touche. Doug is a CPA who holds master's and bachelor's degrees from Utah State University and the University of Utah, respectively.

Matthew Hawkins, Chief Operating Officer

Matthew J. Hawkins is SirsiDynix’s chief operating officer (COO) and is responsible for the company’s Client Care, Implementation, and Consulting & Education organizations. Matt brings varied experience to SirsiDynix from a range of high-level operational roles, including most recently the role of vice president and general manager of Henry Schein Practice Solutions, a Utah-based provider of healthcare software, equipment, and value-added services. Prior to joining Henry Schein, Matt served as a strategy consultant for McKinsey & Co. in Dallas; as a project manager for Tenfold Corp., a software firm in Salt Lake City; and as a financial analyst for Electronic Data Systems in Chicago, Dallas, and Tokyo. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University.

Talin Bingham, Chief Technology Officer

Talin R. Bingham is SirsiDynix's chief technology officer, leading the company's worldwide research and development efforts. Talin has more than 20 years of software engineering experience, including 10 years at the management level for a range of product development organizations. Most recently, he has served as a consultant in developing complex software systems and applications and as vice president of development for Verticore Technologies. Talin also has worked for Cimetrix Inc., Century Software, Wasatch Interactive Learning, Unisys Corp., and Boeing Corp. He holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from Griffin College in Bellevue, Wash.

Stephen Abram, Vice President

Stephen Abram, a leading international librarian and lighthouse thinker in the North American library community, leverages his extensive experience in library technology and trend forecasting, new product conceptualization, and market development to ensure that SirsiDynix products and services continue to be the most innovative in the library market and meet the needs of library directors, library staff members, and library users. Working closely with other members of the SirsiDynix management team, Abram works on strategic projects in all areas to advance SirsiDynix's vision. Abram has more than 25 years in libraries as a practicing librarian and in the information industry. His most recent role was as vice president of corporate development for Micromedia ProQuest. Abram's other roles include publisher for Thomson Carswell and director of Information Resources for the Hay Group. He is a frequent keynote speaker on issues that affect libraries, their communities, and librarians. In addition, Abram was named by Library Journal in 2002 as one of the key people who are influencing the future of libraries and librarianship. He is the past president of the Canadian Library Association and was president of the Ontario Library Association in 2002. He has also served on the international board of directors of the Special Libraries Association. Abram is a Fellow of SLA; and, in June 2003, he was awarded SLA's highest honor, the John Cotton Dana Award. In 2001, Abram was presented with the University of Toronto's Faculty of Information Studies Jubilee Award.

Eric Keith, Chief Sales Officer

Eric D Keith is SirsiDynix's chief sales officer, responsible for all SirsiDynix sales functions. Eric first started at Dynix in 1989 as a programmer working on the original pick-based Dynix classic system. He then worked as a manager in customer service before moving to sales from 1993-97. Eric took a hiatus from what was then Ameritech Library Services from 1997-2003 and went to work as VP of Sales for FlipDog.com, an employment and recruiting site, as well as Advocast, an online, professional advocacy company. Eric returned to Dynix in 2003 as VP of Business Development, as well as taking on the VP of Operations role in 2004, which included both the Client Care and Implementations support groups. Eric holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems from Brigham Young University.

Keith Sturges is president of SirsiDynix International, with oversight of the company's support, sales, and administrative operations in Asia-Pacific, Europe, Middle East & Africa, and Latin America. He has more than 20 years of global business experience with software and services companies. Keith has led numerous organizations to success, most recently, as business unit chief executive officer and corporate chief marketing officer for Misys Healthcare. He was also senior vice president of sales and marketing for two successful start-up companies, as well as vice president of Oracle's Advanced Services division. Keith holds a master's of business administration and computer science from the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom.

Barbara Pacut, Vice President, International Operations	As vice president of Operations for SirsiDynix International, Barbara oversees all operational areas, with particular emphasis on Client Care and Implementations. Barbara has acquired extensive experience in various aspects of library automation during a career spanning more than 20 years, including systems knowledge, training, configurations, upgrades, consultancy, data conversion, project management and staff development. Before entering the systems supplier market, she worked for several years in the field of academic librarianship. Barbara holds a master’s degree in library and information science from University College London and a bachelor’s degree in German and Spanish from the University of Southampton.
Mrugesh Mehta, Vice President, International Finance	Mrugesh Mehta has over 15 years of financial accounting experience predominantly within health and technology companies. Mrugesh comes to SirsiDynix from prior management level accounting roles in two successive US multinational technology firms. He is a Fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and holds a bachelors degree in Economics from the University of Essex.
Gemma Sunshine, Vice President, International Human Resources	Gemma Sunshine is vice president of human resources for SirsiDynix International. She joined SirsiDynix in February 2006 as human resources manager for the Europe, Middle East & Africa business unit. Before SirsiDynix, Gemma was the HR manager for global semiconductor distributor Memec Europe Ltd. and an HR generalist for networking hardware provider Madge Networks Ltd. Gemma attended Henley College where she completed her business studies qualification and holds her Certificate in Personnel and Practice and Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development certification from Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College.
